This tiny black clock is the minimalism itself. The black acrylic dial of this clock is the hour hand herself that rotates around slowly whilst appearing the time with that triangular indent at the rim. The minute hand is a typical white rod whilst the second one hand is a brief black pin with a white point on its tip – and is most effective visible whilst seen from nearer distance. The housing of the clock consists of laser cut plywood boards which can be painted white and touches the wall everywhere in the edge, so the movement isn’t visible in any respect.
– Raw subject matter: 3mm glossy black acrylic board and a 18mm thick plywood board
– Manufacturing process: the dial and the housing of this actual clock is laser cut from the acrylic and the plywood boards, the finishing (sharpening, painting) is made via hand. The skin of the housing is painted white.
– The movement: is silent (non-ticking), 2nd hand sweeps around. It runs with 1pc. AA kind 1.5V battery (no longer included within the package). The minute hand is plastic in white.
